Hi, my fellow booklovers! My name is Marissa Markx (33 years), and I'm a new indie author. I live in the Netherlands (Holland) with my boyfriend and two sons. It wasn’t until a vacation in Spain when I was sixteen that I fell in love with romance books. From that moment on, I’ve read a minimum of one book a day. But as the years went by, some genres started feeling a bit “boring” or predictable to me. The spice wasn’t spicy enough, or the comedy wasn’t funny enough.
My books will definitely get you out of your reading slump.
The idea of writing a book started in 2020, and in 2023, I thought – Why the hell not?
I will publish my first and second book of The Assignment Series in 2025. My books are dark romantic comedies with different kinks and tropes, a high level of spice, and a lot of funny scenes.
